The standard attribution setup for a B2B marketing team looks like this: buy a tool like Bizible or DreamData, spend three months implementing it, hire or contract a RevOps specialist to maintain it, then spend another quarter convincing Finance the numbers are trustworthy.
For the companies that have the budget and the data volume, that's fine. For everyone else — which is most B2B marketing teams — it's overkill. You need to know which channels drive pipeline, which campaigns are actually working, and where to put the next incremental dollar. You don't need a Ph.D.-grade attribution model. You need answers.
Campaign Intelligence gives you the answers without the stack.
Two ways to get data in
Connect Salesforce directly via OAuth. The tool pulls Campaigns, Campaign Members, Opportunities, and the join between them. Tokens are encrypted at rest, and you pick which objects and fields to sync.
Or, if you don't want a live connection, export from Salesforce (or HubSpot, or anywhere else) and upload CSVs. Same analysis either way. The upload path matters because not every team can hand out Salesforce credentials to a new tool on day one.
What it calculates
Pipeline sourced and influenced by campaign. Pipeline by channel and sub-channel. Conversion rates from lead to MQL to SQL to Opportunity to Closed Won. Stage velocity (how long does it take to get from one stage to the next, broken out by campaign). Cost per pipeline dollar and cost per closed dollar, when you feed it campaign spend. Multi-touch influence, using configurable attribution models (first touch, last touch, linear, U-shape).
All of it rolls up into a dashboard you can filter by date, campaign, channel, or custom segment.
Where it fits
If you already have Bizible or DreamData, you don't need this. If you have a good RevOps team and a warehouse with DBT models and a Looker dashboard, you don't need this.
If you're a marketer who's been told to “get better at attribution” and your current setup is either “a really complicated Salesforce report” or “nothing,” this is where you start. You get 80% of what a real attribution tool gives you, in an afternoon, without a RevOps hire.
Honest limitations
Last-touch attribution is always going to be easy and always going to be partially wrong. Multi-touch is better but needs enough data to be meaningful — if you only close 30 deals a quarter, the attribution signal is going to be noisy no matter what tool you use. The value of this tool isn't that it solves attribution (nothing does). It's that it gets you from “zero visibility” to “reasonable directional answers” fast.
Who uses this
Series A through C B2B SaaS companies that don't have a full RevOps function. Marketing managers at mid-market companies who need to justify spend to the CFO. Agencies reporting on client campaign performance who want something more rigorous than UTM tracking.
